Well I'm glad to say that I'm back in the scene & this time I'm in a mk5! It's funny because when they 1st came out, I hated them. But now, it's my favorite generation of the VW family. I've had the car for a couple of weeks now & enjoyed the way I got it, having a few mods on it like being softwared,intake,exhaust and being a fully loaded "package 2" option. But as always, it wasn't enough! I got some staggered 18x8.5/9.5 w/ some "crazy low" offsets in the mk5 world but they fit proper I think. With new wheels also comes new coils to drop it a bit more. The grill and wheels are in a Stone Pearl over white base so it's tough to photograph depending on the lighting it shifts from a sand type of color to a beige type color. The pearl matches the BMP paint pretty well with having a blue pearl in it as well as a "golden emrald pearl". More to come with a full day shoot soon!

Lenny's Gti is looking fresh these days with some wide-ass BBS RS'. Poke is the pure definition of his car that sports the 17s with a 2.5" lip up front and massive 4" lips out back. He's got a 20th kit all around, and sitting low (or high) thanks to the air setup. The lips are some of the biggest to have been fit on a set of the RS' that have gone on to a mk4, and it looks insane. Few more things will be sure to come in the future for this car, but it's certainly something good to look at!

Well now-a-days everybody seems to hate on people who don't spend $2k plus on wheels and if they're not 3 piece. But when you can get some great looking wheels at a fraction of the cost and be able to pull em off properly then why not do it. As is the case with Crossman's Jetta aka "the Bentley". Why is a VW called a Bentley? Well because it's extremely clean, under 40k miles, only see's sunny days and treated as if it was such a car. Some fresh mods to the car include a gli rear lip cut out to fit the dual tips from the AWE exhaust that gives out the beautiful 24v rumble. A few other mods include the 4-motion front, gli sides, notchless hood and can't forget the staggered KT1's that it rolls on. Enough talking and onto the pics.

Last year, Mike's "Fuzzy" car was pretty well known and popular with the white on white stage but he had bigger and better plans for the car to come out with this year. The Katzkin/custom wrapped interior in their "autumn" (peanut butter) color looked amazing behind the white but now coupled with the completely repainted car of Noble Spinel Mica, gives off a pretty classy look. As you can see the car has some great upgrades to it some of which including the euro votex sides, the rear bumper smoothed and shaved, jetta front with shaved markers and much more. Can't forget to mention the built set of fully polished OZ Futura's that the pulled fenders sit right above.

When it comes to Srt4's usually you see them on a set of springs, maybe a basic set of wheels and all the attention goes to the performance aspect. But with Evan's car it's more then just motor mods. He's on a set of coils and pretty damn low, especially for the Srt4 world. The car can certainly get up and go with an easy 400hp + setup, that screams through the custom single outlet exhaust. The BBS RS' seem to look good on no matter what they're bolted up to as is the case here. But I'll let the pics do the talking.

Wally is a major BMW E30 fanatic to say the least and he always knows how to make em look killer. He's now rocking this 3 series convertible with a set of the Corvette "salad shooters" with a blacked out theme on the car. As if it's not low enough already he does plan on dropping it a bit more soon. The tagged up front lip gives it a bit of a unique touch as well.

Jon's car is looking better then ever! With the few upgrades he did this year it's looking more then proper. Added on some euro bumpers and a 4 motion lip up front. And as if TH Lines don't look good enough already, being aired out on them takes it to the next level. He's not afraid to drive it either so you'll definitely be seeing it around and at plenty of shows all over.

So the 1st ever show put on by the guys over at Gengstout and Dark Star Dubs turned out to be a pretty damn good one! For their 1st time holding one they found a great location at a local beach that has a lot big enough to fit probably 1,000 cars. A turn out of over 300 showers and at least double the number for onlookers made it a great show with a great atmosphere. Quite a few of the Gengstout affiliates revealed some new mods and some amazing transformations as well! Enough talking and onto the pics.

Josh's gti is more then proper looking!  He's riding on a bag over coil setup w/ the firestone rear setup and it most certainly does the job. Now yes he does have the famous "played" wheel of the world but hey, they're played for a reason. The 17x8.5/9" BBS RS' are also polished in the centers with flat caps that have a custom center cap logo repping Gengstout. And as you can see, the car lays out perfect on this setup. You may notice a few subtle mods on the exterior amongst it's otherwise stock look. The hatch and side rub strips have been shaved off for a much cleaner look.
